Explanation
Mehrgarh, one of the earliest Neolithic sites in South Asia, is located on the right bank of the Bolan River in present-day Balochistan, Pakistan. This river valley provided fertile conditions for early agriculture and settlement, distinguishing it from the other rivers listed.
